New UK Ambassador to Argentina

Ms Shan Morgan has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to The Argentine Republic and Her Majesty's non-resident Ambassador to The Republic of Paraguay.

Zimbabwe amended travel advice

We amended our travel advice for Zimbabwe on Wednesday 27 August. Due to the decrease in violence in the region we no longer advise against all but essential travel.

Georgia: Travel advice updated

We amended our travel advice for Georgia on Monday 25 August. The situation in Georgia is now calmer but we continue to advise against all travel to South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
