TRADE AND INVESTMENT

The volume of trade between the United Kingdom and Cape Verde is small. British exports to Cape Verde in 2005 were worth £4.43 million, up from £3.23 million the previous year; and Cape Verde’s exports to the UK were worth £0.54 million, down from £1.41 million the previous year. British commercial interests in Cape Verde are handled by the British Embassy in Dakar, Senegal.
