GEOGRAPHY

Burundi is a small land-locked mountainous country lying south of the Equator in Central Africa. It shares borders with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Tanzania, and Rwanda. It has a temperate climate with 2 rainy seasons (March to May; October to December). Official languages are Kirundi, French and Swahili.
