I have created my user ID and password but I have not received a confirmation email. How do I complete my registration?
The firewalls around your email account may have blocked the confirmation email. To confirm your registration visit the may have blocked the confirmation email. If you visit the
LOCATE login page, click the 'Never received your confirmation message' link and then follow the instructions. Once you have done this you will be able to log in to your account and start filling in your personal, passport, trip and other details.
I cannot remember my user ID and/or password. How can I access my LOCATE account?
If you've forgotten your user ID you can get this from the confirmation email you received when you registered with LOCATE. If you have already registered a trip on LOCATE, you can also get your user ID the email you were sent to confirm your trip. If you no longer have any of these emails, visit the
LOCATE login page, click 'Forgot your user ID? and enter the email address you used to register for your account. LOCATE will then send you an email with your user ID.
If you have forgotten your password, visit the
LOCATE login page and click 'Can't remember your password?'. You can then enter your user ID and the answers to the security questions so you can reset your password. You need to type the answers to the security questions the same as you entered them when you registered with LOCATE.
For security reasons we don't have access to and cannot change the details you used to register with LOCATE on your behalf, so if you no longer have access to the email address you use to register with LOCATE you will be unable to retrieve your login details and you will need to register again using a different email address
How should I enter my telephone number when I'm registering my trip and emergency contact details?
In the 'Country Code' field, select the appropriate country from the drop down menu. In the 'Telephone' field, you should enter the full telephone number excluding the country code. You should not include any spaces, zeros or symbols.
How do I register groups of travellers?
LOCATE does not currently have a specific group registration function. However, to register others in your group on LOCATE, you can do the following:
- log in to your registrant profile and click 'Add Family Member'
- in the 'Relationship to you' field select the appropriate relationship. If the person you are registering is not a family member, select 'other'
- in the 'Other information' box at the bottom of the form provide any information that you think will be important and, if the person you are registering is not a family member, indicate their relationship to you e.g. friend, family friend etc.
- click 'Submit' and you will be taken back to your registrant profile.
You can now add another person in your travelling group to your profile by clicking, 'Add family member'.
Once you have registered another traveller on your registrant profile you can add them to any of your trips by clicking on the appropriate trip (or 'Add a Trip' if you have not already added a trip) and select the appropriate registered person under 'Travelling Family Members' at the bottom of the form.
