Mr Peter Hughes was appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on Tuesday 3 June. He will take up his appointment in July.Mr Peter Hughes has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in succession to Mr John Everard who will be retiring from the Diplomatic Service. Mr Hughes will take up his appointment during July 2008.
