Heavy rain, strong winds, and flooding is expected to continue in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and the Panhandle of Florida until Thursday 30 August. Across the region, widespread power outages have been reported. The New Orleans area has borne the brunt of the storm’s impact.
