The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) does not handle visa issues, and does not answer visa enquiries.

If you do have an issue or an enquiry about a visa, please redirect your enquiry to the UK Border Agency.

For British nationals abroad who are distressed or require assistance, please complete the British nationals abroad enquiry form.

Enquiries from members of the public are responded to by FCO policy officers and are rarely read by FCO Ministers.  

The FCO aims to respond to correspondence from members of the public within 20 working days of receipt.
