How to apply for a career in the EU

The procedure to apply for a career in the EU civil service is not dissimilar to other graduate schemes. The main difference is the inclusion of a language element in the application process, a selection procedure also known as ‘the concours’ (French for ‘competition’).

For the general selection procedure (AD05/07) the online registration opens in March 2012 and will close in April 2012 (exact dates to be confirmed). Specialist selection procedures for Economics, Finance, Law, Audit, Statistics, Linguists, Translators and Interpreters will be run by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) when required. Visit their website for further information.
