What does this mean for you?

Essentially you will need to be a graduate, in any field as long as it is an honours degree (e.g. BA (Hons), BEng(Hons), BSc(Hons) etc), and you will need to speak either French or German as a 2nd language (unless you can speak another EU language fluently enough so that English is then your 2nd language).

Make no mistake, the application process for a career in the EU is a lengthy and challenging one, however you will be competing for one of the best careers in Europe. If you like a challenge and want a career where you can really make a difference to the lives of over 500 million people in 27 different countries then why not apply!

Minimum Criteria

• Be a citizen of a Member State of the European Union
• Be entitled to full rights as such a citizen
• Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the national laws on military service
• Have a thorough knowledge of one of the official languages of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge of a second
• Have a Bachelor Degree (Honours) at least 3 years in length or are about to graduate
