Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS)

You can only apply for an ATAS certificate AFTER you have received either a conditional or unconditional offer from a UK University. If you apply without this your application will be rejected.

The ATAS team work from Monday-Friday 0900-1700 GMT. Emails received outside of these hours will only be dealt with during these opening hours. Please do not send repeat messages, as this causes extra delay.

If you have not heard from us within 3 weeks of making your application please email us on atas@fco.gov.uk quoting your ATAS reference number which can be found on the copy of your application form (example: NPG/286/1234/2008).
