What is SISBO?

SISBO is a not-for-profit partnership between the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.

We are based at the FCO in London, and we also have a designated SISBO co-ordinator in almost every UK Embassy and High Commission overseas. We work closely with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), and have links to a number of private-sector business associations.

What do we do?

Our purpose is to increase the UK's international competitiveness, by pooling the UK public and private sectors' accumulated understanding of doing business abroad.
