POLICY RESTRICTIONS
The Government will consider applications for licensing strategic exports to the Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR) on a case by case basis. The Government will not, however, issue licences for strategic exports to the MSAR for goods which would not be licensed for export to mainland China. The Government’s policy on strategic exports to mainland China is as set out by the late Derek Fatchett on 3 June 1998, Official Report, columns 246-7.
