Working with schools and young people

The FCO is keen to establish strong links with schools and young people. As adults of the future, it is important that young people are able to develop an understanding of the major global issues affecting our society, and, that they are given an opportunity to voice their opinions on the way Britain tackles these issues.

FCO officers regularly visit schools around the UK to talk about their work and to answer questions on a range of issues and equality and diversity in the diplomatic service.
