Technology is GREAT Britain

1. Tech City, London is the largest and fastest-growing tech cluster in Europe, with over 600 digital and media companies located in and around East London.

2. The UK is the global leader in e-commerce, spending more per capita than any other country.

3. The UK is Europe’s leading market for software and IT services. London has more software and IT services companies than any major US city.

4. The UK is the largest market in Europe for consumer electronics, with 22 per cent market share.

5. The British government has introduced visas specifically tailored to encourage entrepreneurs and investors and is developing a new regime for intellectual property.
