The Britain in the EU section will help to answer these questions, and other issues such as EU relations with the rest of the world, its policies in areas like environment and agriculture, and how countries apply to join.

We also have a permanent office in Brussels which looks after UK interests in the EU and lobbies and negotiates on our behalf.
